Common Questions

Honest answers to the questions people ask most.

No. Muslims worship only Allah — the One God, without partner, intermediary, or rival. Muhammad ﷺ is a human being, a servant and messenger chosen by God to deliver His final message. He ate, walked, slept, and tasted death like every human. He never claimed divinity; he warned against being elevated beyond his station. When a man once praised him excessively, he said: “Do not exalt me as the Christians exalted the son of Mary. I am only a servant, so say: the servant of Allah and His messenger” (Sahih al-Bukhari 3445). To love and revere the Prophet ﷺ is part of faith — but worship belongs to God alone, and to direct it anywhere else is the one act the Qur’an calls unforgivable if died upon.
